Skylanes Asphalt Roofing Sheets are made from recycled paper waste, natural fibrous materials, and bitumen, combined under intense pressure and heat to deliver excellent weather resistance. The color pigments used have exceptional retention, even in extreme sunlight. These sheets are lightweight, easy to install, and built to withstand all kinds of weather conditions.

They are especially suitable for tropical areas, as they do not rust or corrode. In addition, they absorb both noise and heat, making them ideal for regions with high temperatures and heavy rainfall.

About Us

Skylanes is India’s leading manufacturer of Asphalt Roofing Sheets. The parent company, Light Roofings Ltd., was established in 1969 and started production of the Asphalt corrugated sheets at Chengalpattu, Tamilnadu and it was the first of its kind to be produced in the country.

Observing the rising demand for lightweight roofing in the 1980s, Skylanes and Allied Products Private Limited was incorporated in 1989 and is the sole manufacturer of Asphalt Lightweight Roofing Sheets in India to date. For over 30 years until now, the core business has focused exclusively on the Indian market and has exported to other regions as well.

Skylanes Asphalt Roofs have National Test House Certification and are also certified under the quality management system ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental management system. In 2024, Skylanes and Allied Products Private Limited entered into a strategic joint venture with Paramount Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. and Parabatai Technotech Pvt. Ltd. Under this collaboration, Skylanes will focus exclusively on production, while Parabatai Technotech Pvt. Ltd. will serve as the sole global partner for marketing, sales, and installation.
